The Section NE-2B 2005 Conclave
Hosted by Shinnecock Lodge at Baiting Hollow Scout Camp
June 17 th – 19th
In just a few months, NE-2B will be gathering at Baiting Hollow for the 2005 Section Conclave. Come and be one of the estimated 200 brothers in attendance.
Friday night there will be a meal and dessert in the dining hall, in addition to an opening show at the amphitheater. This year’s show will be even more entertaining than previous years. It features “Pimp My Lodge,” a short film created by Sakuwit Lodge, based off the MTV hit, "Pimp My Ride." The show will take a dull, ordinary lodge in need of some serious pimpin', and transform it into the hottest, most successful lodge in the nation!
Saturday, after sitting down at breakfast and reading the morning edition of the publication “2B-2day,” training courses will begin. Distinguished brothers from across the Northeast Region will be sharing their wisdom on subjects such as how to run an effective chapter meeting or run a successful induction weekend. There will be Native American dance and craft lessons and much more. The afternoon will be packed with activities. There will be inter-lodge competitions in volleyball and sandcastle building among other things. The patch auction will be held Saturday evening to raise money for the operation of our section and sending the Section Chief to Dallas, Texas to represent our section on the national level. There will be more entertainment and a banquet that night.
Sunday the youth will vote in an election for new section officers, and the winners of the numerous competitions held during the weekend will be announced.
